Mice homozygous for one null allele are viable and reach adulthood without any obvious phenotypes; however, mouse embryonic fibroblasts exhibit impaired cell migration and abnormal lamellipodia production in vitro. Mice homozygous for a different null allele exhibit complete embryonic lethality.
