Nullizygous mice show impaired B-cell homeostasis, BCR signaling, and T cell-independent B-cell responses. Homozygous hypomorphs show altered mammary epithelial morphology. Spontaneous mutants die at birth from respiratory stress with severe anomalies inskin, limbs, tails, face and oral cavity.
