Mutant mice exhibit situs inversus, heterotaxia and ciliary dyskinesia including cardiovascular defects and decreased ciliary activity in the trachea, reduced to absent mucociliary clearance, and chronic rhinosinusitis. Hydrocephaly is also seen.
