Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Artm3(AR)Dmr expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsHuman androgen receptor amino acids 31 to 484 were inserted into the mouse locus. This allele contains 48 glutamine residues in the N terminal. Transient cre expression removed a floxed neo from the recombined locus. RT-PCR demonstrated higher levels of transcript in mutants than wild-type. Western blot showed that protein levels were also somewhat higher. (J:108849)
