Mutation details: Cre recombinase cDNA with the progesterone receptor was placed under the control of the human glial fibrillary acidic protein promoter. None of the 4 lines that expressed cre/PGR mRNA exhibited inducible recombinase activity after RU486 induction in crosses with reporter mice, so the lines were discontinued.
