Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of a 0.5 kb fragment of the of the 5' flanking sequence of the murine Akr1b7 gene, the coding region and 3' untranslated region of the cre gene, a metallothionein I poly a signal, and a 3.5 kb intragenic fragment spanning intron 1 to intron 2 of the mouse Akr1b7 gene. Cre activity was detected in the adrenal cortex and kidney but not in the gonads or vas deferens. (J:146966)
