origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:138247
Parent Cell Line:  GK129 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 3 and a loxP site and frt flanked PGK-neo cassette were inserted downstream of exon 3 via homologous recombination. Two mutant ES cell lines acquired the two loxP insertion in the targeted gene. This allele is derived from line 2E11 in which targeting occured as expected. Subsequent Cre mediated recombination removed exon 3. (J:138247)
