Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(KRT14-cre/Esr1*)3Brst expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgenic construct contains the KRT14 promoter/enhancer followed by the cre recombinase cDNA fused to the sequence of an altered hormone-binding domain of the mouse estrogen receptor (cre/Ert). The transgene also contains a rabbit beta-globin 5' UTR region and intronic sequence 5' to the cre cDNA, as well as the KRT14 3' UTR and polyadenylation site 3' to the cre sequence. The construct was injected into FVB/N zygotes. Three founders were identified. (J:150033)
