Mutation details: The rat enolase 2, gamma neuronal promoter was used to drive expression of cre recombinase in most neurons and neuroendocrine cells. Two founder lines, CK1 and CK2, were obtained and hybridization analyses with a cre probe showed that each line arose from independent transgene insertions. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled.
