Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Kiss1tm1.1(cre)Mgmj expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsAn Frt-neo-Frt-IRES-cre cassette was inserted between the stop codon and polyA site of the Kiss1 gene by homologous recombination in R1 ES cells. Correctly targeted ES cells were injected into C57BL/6 blastocysts. The resulting chimeric animals were crossed to C57BL/6J mice, and then bred to a line expressing Flp recombinase to remove the Frt-flanked neo cassette. (J:234023)
