Mutation details: An IRES-Cre cassette containing a neomycin selection gene flanked with frt sites was introduced into the 3' untranslated region of the Dlx2 gene. Targeted constact was introduced into ES cells to generate chimera founders. Resulting positive offspring were crossed with a flp deleter line to excise the neomycin resistance gene. (J:255053)
