Mutation details: This transgenic allele was generated by inserting a multicistronic cDNA cassette consisting of enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP), improved Cre (icre), human diphteria toxin receptor (HBGF) and the click beetle green luciferase 99 (luc) each separated by the P2A peptide sequence into the mouse Il7 locus replacing translation initiation ATG of the gene carried in the BAC clone RP23-446B12. Successfully recombined BAC were purified and injected into the pronuclei of
fertilized C57BL/6J oocytes. Two lines were established showing the same pattern of luciferase expression. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled.
