Mutation details: The targeting vector was generated to insert Frt-flanked neo selection cassette and IRES-cre into the exon 2 of the defensin alpha 4 (Defa4) gene. Resulting mice were crossed with FloO deleter to remove the neo selection cassette. Cre expression is restricted in Paneth cell in the intestines.
