description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Nrg1em1(cre/ERT2)Bzsh expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe mouse line was generated by homologous recombination using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology. A complementary DNA encoding Cre recombinase fused with a mutant form of the ESR hormone-binding domain (CreERT2) followed by a polyadenylation sequence, was inserted into the last coding exon of Nrg1 gene, and a 2A peptide sequence was used to link the Nrg1 coding region and CreERT2 cDNA to allow expression of both Nrg1 and CreERT2.
