description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Ghrl-cre)E7Jmz expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC: RP23-128E5) containing nearly 192.04 kb sequence upstream of the mouse Ghrl start codon and nearly the entire coding sequence of the gene, ending ~1.17 kb upstream of the stop codon was modified by inserting a cre sequence into the translational start site of the gene removing the first 29bp of the coding sequence. Multiple lines were made and one line named E7 was used for the studies. (J:303659)
