description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Cdh6-cre/ERT2)8Inot expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA LacZ reporter gene with the nuclear localization signal (NLS) followed by a polyadenylation sequence, was inserted into BAC clone RP23-78N21 with the 3' coverage of the Cdh6 locus that contains cis-regulatory modules for the somatosensory at the initiating ATG codon of the first coding exon of the Cdh6 gene. Eight founders were generated with similar expression patterns. Line 8 showing the highest level of CreERT2 protein expression in brain lysate was chosen for the studies. (J:205104)
