description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

En1tm1.1(flpo)Jbb expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsFlpo, a codon-optimized version of Flp recombinase was inserted into the ATG in the 1st exon of the En1 genomic locus. Positive ES cell clones were screened by Southern blot analysis and microinjected into blastocysts, and the resulting chimeric mice were crossed to C57BL/6J females. The neomycin selectable cassette was removed using Protamine::Cre mice. (J:313825)
