Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Nppa-cre)m-3Vmc expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgenic construct consists of a sequence fragment encoding a consensus Kozak signal, a nuclear localization signal and cre recombinase inserted at the start codon of the mouse Nppa genomic sequence (-3 kb relative to the transcription start site to upstream of the NRSE (neuron-restrictive silencer element) in the 3' UTR) with human growth hormone gene poly(A) signal sequences added to the 3' end. The 0.7 kb proximal regulatory region, containing the promoter and silencer and enhancer sequences, is included. (J:278530)
