In addition to Pscr1 and Pscr2, a third locus, Pscs, is postulated to be responsible for the difference in corneal susceptibility to P. aeruginosa between the recessive resistant phenotype of DBA/2 and the dominant susceptible phenotype of C3H/He strain.
