Parent Cell Line:  E14.1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Applicable)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsExon 22 and 23a were replaced with a segment containing exon 22, a floxed neo cassette and exon 23 containing a nucleotide substitution that results in an amino acid substitution of an alanine for a serine at position 727 (S727A), a site within the transactivation domain. The neo cassette was removed by germ-line, cre-mediated recombination. Protein expression and the absence of phosphorylation was confirmed by western blot analysis. (J:130622)
