Parent Cell Line:  BAC-BA1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (C57BL/6 x 129S/SvEv)F1
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Specified)
Mutation:    Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsSerine codon 120 (AGC) in exon 5 was changed to aspartic acid (GAC) (p.S120D) and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 3. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. The mutation turns the affected residue in the encoded peptide from phosphorylatable to a phosphomimetic. (J:308469)
