Mutation details: The RP23-92L23 bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) containing mouse Ins2 was modified by first replacing the Ins2 coding region by galK. Then the galK insert was replaced by the human diphtheria toxin receptor (HBEGF) cDNA. Lines 5, 14, 17, and 33 were generated.
