Inbred Strains of Mice: AMMS

AMMS/1

Inbr. F51 (1993). Albino a,b,c,D. Origin: Outbred KM mice from Shanghai Institute of Biological Products in 1972 and inbred since 1974 by Lou Zhenmei, Laboratory Animals Centre, Beijing. Uniform body weight with low sexual dimorphism. Sensitive to attenuated Bacillus anthracis, developing acute liver damage (Zhenmei, personal communication).
