Characteristics

No spontaneous mammary tumours, but about 60% when the milk agent is introduced. Primary lung tumours 22%. Incidence of all other tumours less than 1% (Heston, 1963). Life-span about 18 months (Medvedev, 1969). High spontaneous locomotor activity (9/9). Short time of immobility in a forced swimming test (7/9) (Nikulina et al 1991). Clonidene induces a strong aggressive behavioural response (3/9) (Nikulina and Klimek, 1993).
