Inbr: 31. Genet: Pink-eyed. Origin: From Ueno Zoo to Dept. Zool., Kyushu Univ., to Natl. Inst. Genet., to Inst. Infect. Diseases, Univ. Tokyo. Inbreeding started in 1958. (Supposed to have originated from mongrels of Japanese fancy mice.)


Characteristics

High incidence of mammary tumours. (Tajima, 1968).
