Characteristics

High mammary tumour incidence in both virgin and breeding females; closely related to LIS/A and STS/A, as deduced from isoenzyme patterns. A fostered low-tumour line, LTSfA, is also kept. Leukosis 6% in unfostered substrain and 18% in fostered substrain (Hilgers and Galesloot, 1973).
