Characteristics
Poor reproductive performance (19/12) and low litter size (9/12). Dislikes
handling (
Hansen et al 1973). Takes longer
to develop dental caries, and incidence of
Streptococcus salivarius
and lactobacilli lower than in CAS (
Hunt et
al 1955).Susceptible to the induction of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis
(
Gasser et al 1975).
