Origin: Makino, Hokkaido University 1960 from stock the carrying the 'notched'
character isolated by Nakata from wild rats in Kyoto, and from a cross
involving WKAH. Formerly designated KYO "Kyoto-notched" (Shoji
1977, MC Yoshida, personal communication).
