Homozygotes for a null allele show increased marginal zone B cell number with no changes in precursor cells, proliferation, apoptosis, migration or B cell responses. Homozygotes for a different null allele show decreased mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), decreased MCH concentration, and dermatitis.
