Mice homozygous for a Ccl27a knock-out allele show only a slight alteration in the establishment of CCR10+ skin-resident lymphocytes. Mice with all Ccl27 genes knocked-out show impaired migration and localization of CCR10+ lymphocytes into skin, increased susceptibility to imiquimod-induced skin inflammation, increased infiltration of CCR10+ T cells into lungs and female reproductive tracts, and uterus inflammation.
