Fv3 controls susceptibility to Friend leukemia virus suppression of humoral antibody synthesis and in vitro mitogen proliferative response. Effects may be mediated by regulating T-suppressor cell activity. 129 and DBA/2 carry the susceptible allele; C57BL/6, C57BL/10 and C58, the resistant allele.
