This locus controls susceptibility to early erythroleukemia induction by helper virus-independent NB-tropic Friend leukemia virus. BALB/c, NFS and C3H/He carry the susceptibility (s) allele; DBA/2, DBA/1, C57BL/6, C57BL/10, C57L, CBA/N and AKR/N carry the dominant resistant ( r) allele.
