This locus controls susceptibility to passive cutaneous anaphylaxis mediated by IgE monclonal antibodies. Strain DS/Shi is highly susceptible and strain C3H/HeShi resistant. F1 mice are susceptible. Inheritance studies indicate a sinlge locus with susceptibility dominant, and possible modifiers.
