Nullizygous mice show partial postnatal lethality, poor fertility, hemosiderosis, lymphocyte and spleen anomalies, altered sublingual gland secretion, inflammation of the arteries, lung, liver and thyroid, abnormal spermatogenesis and glomerulosclerosis leading to kidney failure and premature death.
