Mice homozygous for a null allele show altered GH secretory dynamics, hypergastremia, and reduced hippocampal bursting and excitatory transmission. Mice homozygous for another null allele show impaired motor learning, higher GH and corticosterone levels,gastric fundus hyperplasia and hyperacidity.
