Molecular description: This transgene consists of a minimal promoter, 1.8 kb of murine Pax6 intron 4 encoding a retinal specific regulatory element, a cre recombinase gene, an IRES, a GFP gene, and a polyadenylation signal. Cre and GFP expression are seen in retinal progenitor cells. Line two contains 4 copies of the trandgene inserted into Chr 7 (Chr7: 8525949685287099) to produce a 27 kb deletion.
