Tg(Nkx2-5-cre)9Eno - Alimentary System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Nkx2-5-cre)9Eno
transgene insertion 9, Eric N Olson
Driver: Nkx2-5
Type: Transgenic (Recombinase)
Synonym: Nk9, Nkx2.5-Cre, Nkx2.5::Cre, Nkx2.5Cre
Molecular description: A 2.5 kb fragment containing the mouse Nkx2.5 basal promoter and cardiac enhancer was placed in front of an NLS-cre cassette. Expression of cre is seen in developing heart, pharynx, and some liver cells. Three lines were created and line 9, which had the highest levels of cre recombination in the heart, was selected for use.
