Tg(Pax2-cre)10Shwl - Mesenchyme
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Pax2-cre)10Shwl
transgene insertion 10, William Shawlot
Driver: Pax2
Type: Transgenic (Recombinase)
Synonym: Pax2(8,5)-cre, Pax2-cre
Molecular description: This transgene contains cre recombinase under the control of the Pax2 upstream fragment, which is active in the nephric duct and its derivatives, but not in the metanephric mesenchyme. Of four lines identified, line 10 was used in conditional experiments. Lines 10 and 21 were used in cre reporter assays.
