Tg(Eno2-cre)2Lfp - Head
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Eno2-cre)2Lfp
transgene insertion 2, Luis F Parada
Driver: Eno2
Type: Transgenic (Recombinase)
Synonym: Nse-creCK2
Molecular description: The rat enolase 2, gamma neuronal promoter was used to drive expression of cre recombinase in most neurons and neuroendocrine cells. Sporadic expression was found in kidney and testis of mutants. Two founder lines, CK1 and CK2, were obtained and hybridization analyses with a cre probe showed that each line arose from independent transgene insertions.
