Molecular description: A 3.9 kb promoter fragment of the mouse Etv2 (ER71) gene was cloned into a construct containing the cre recombinase sequence. The construct was injected into fertilized oocytes to generate transgenic mice. Six founder lines were obtained and showed similar recombination patterns when crossed to reporter mice. Results for three lines, 15526, 15508, and 15511, were presented. The symbol for line 15508 was created as a representative.
