Tg(Npy1r-cre)RL2Gsat - Nervous System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Npy1r-cre)RL2Gsat
transgene insertion RL2, GENSAT Project at Rockefeller University
Driver: Npy1r
Type: Transgenic (Recombinase)
Synonym:
Molecular description: BAC engineering was used to insert an intron containing cre cassettes, followed by a polyadenylation sequence to terminate transcription of the fusion transcript immediately after the recombinase gene, into the BAC vector at the initiating ATG codon in the first coding exon of the gene. The BAC address for this line is RP23-426J22. A modified BAC containing cre under control of the gene specific promoter was injected into pronuclei of FVB/N fertilized oocytes.
