Tg(Pitx2-cre/ERT2)#Jfm - Respiratory System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Pitx2-cre/ERT2)#Jfm
transgene insertion, James F Martin
Driver: Pitx2
Type: Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer: tamoxifen
Synonym: Pitx2cCreERT2
Molecular description: The construct contains a 16 kilo-base-long Pitx2 mouse 129SV genomic fragment encompassing the Pitx2 promoter and 4.2 kb downstream of exon 6. A promotor-less CreERT2 cassette, including the CreERT2 coding sequence and a poly(A) tail, was cloned into the 5' region of Pitx2 exon 4. Founder information and line numbers were not available. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled.
