Molecular description: The transgene consists of two conserved enhancer elements upstream of human GSX2, 687 (hs687, ~1.2 kb) and 678 (hs678, ~0.8 kb) sequences with a beta-globin minimal promoter-driven Cre-IRES-EGFP (CIE). Four founder lines were generated. The fourth line showing the robust EGFP signal in the Gsx2-expressing regions along the AP axis was established.
