Mice homozygous for a gene trapped allele show reduced proliferative and tubulogenic responses in lung endothelial cells, decreased tumor angiogenesis and growth of induced tumors, and high potassium-induced hypertension with decreased urinary sodium excretion and increased plasma sodium levels.
