Homozygous null mice exhibit depolarizing shifts in action potential thresholds in core accumbens medium spiny neurons, and reduced ability to induce spike-timing-dependent long-term depression (tLTD). Amphetamine-induced locomotor activity is reduced in male mutant mice.
