Notes
Leprdb-ad, adipose, recessive. This allele arose spontaneously in a stock selected for large body size derived from a cross between the Goodale and MacArthur Large selected populations (J:31691). It was shown to be allelic to Leprdb (J:27525). Like other mutations at the Lepr locus, homozygotes for adipose show a phenotype very similar to that of Leprdb homozygotes, differences being no greater than might be caused by differences in genetic background.
