Notes

A number of lethal mutations were induced in the t region of Chr 17 using ENU. One such mutation, labeled l(17)1Wi, was found to survive in heterozygous state with the classic Qk mutant (which the authors refer to as qk^v to emphasize its viability). The l¹⁷ symbol was then changed to qk^l-1 (J:9032).
