Notes

Homozygotes show erratic circling behavior which becomes more pronounced with age. They can swim. They are very active, bobbing up and down and flexing head and trunk ventrally towards the tail. Flexing behavior when suspended by tail is diagnostic at weaning age. jc is not allelic with other circling mutants on Chr 10 (J:13506).
