Notes |
Grid2ho-TgN37Inra, hotfoot transgenic, nonhomologous insert 37, Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique. As the result of insertion of a trangene into the hotfoot locus, a new allele was formed that causes a phenotype resembling hotfoot in homozygotes and in heterozygotes with the Grid2ho-4J allele (J:44452). A deletion in Grid2 mRNA in homozygotes for the new allele helps establish Grid2 as the site of the hotfoot mutations (J:48151).
