origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:33573
Parent Cell Line:  E14 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsSequence encoding three zinc-finger domains was replaced with a construct containing an HPRT gene. Northern blot analysis of brain extracts showed the presence of an aberrant transcript in homozygous mutant mice. The transcript was undetectable in further analysis using a probe specific for the zinc-finger domains. (J:33573)
